The Skaneateles Police Department, in coordination with the New York State Police, is currently investigating a suspicious incident involving a concerning email received by staff at the Skaneateles Community Center.
Out of an abundance of caution, the Community Center was evacuated. At this time, there is no identifiable threat to public safety. The facility will remain closed while a thorough assessment is conducted.
Authorities will provide updates as more information becomes available. We appreciate the public’s cooperation and understanding.
