We recently attended a series of Project Partner Meetings for the Onondaga County Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan. Our Mayor, along with members of the Village Boards, also attended and provided valuable input.
The Safety Action Plan focuses on reducing fatal and serious-injury crashes, with the long-term goal of reaching zero traffic deaths and serious injuries.
The plan will consider all public roadways throughout Onondaga County and combine crash and transportation data with input from municipalities, community partners, local leaders, and the public. This information will help identify safety needs and develop a prioritized set of strategies and projects to make our roads safer for everyone.
