Leaf pickup may begin on October 19, 2026 and carry through November, weather-permitting.
Please make sure that leaves are loose and free of brush, trimmings, pumpkins, and other materials that cannot be picked up by our leaf vacuum.
Leaves mulched with grass will not be picked up as this combination damages the leaf vacuum.
If the DPW determines there is PET WASTE in the leaves, they will not pick up the leaves. It will then be the responsibility of the property owner to dispose of the leaves.
**The Village will NOT pick up leaves that are not located in the designated area. Please make sure that any leaves are located in the lawn area and NOT on any sort of pavement such as a driveway or sidewalk.**
If you need remove your own leaves, and there is no pet waste in them, your options are:
Take them to the transfer station.
Hire a contractor to remove them.
Store them until the next leaf pick-up.
